The biggest I've had in a long while. The switch to the new server was supposed to take about 24 hours max. The site has been down for about a week and a half. Talk about underestimating. But the switch is complete now. There may be one more short downtime, but this time it will only be for about 20 min. I just have to unplug the computer and plug it in, in anothother room. More themes coming soon, and I'm working on a way to take orders for custom built websites. Thats about all for now. First off, you may not be seeing any images, in this case, open firefox, and goto tools>options>web features, and then make sure that the box that says "Load Images" is checked. The second problem is that the guide images that showup on links in the main menu, may not be displaying properly. Currently there is no way I can fix this. They still work, but the images may be bigger than the box that they are in, and it can be quite annoying. If this bothers you, use Internet Explorer. If not,.....well then your fine I guess. Just had to deal with this issue now before I got a bunch of emails saying "this is broken" and "your site don't work" or even "you suck". Sorry FireFox fans, I'll keep my eyes open for a fix. CloudStrife6982 (comments? | Score: 0) New Layout Posted by cloudstrife6982 on Saturday, 10 September 2005 (17:05:04) Eastern Standard Time (0 reads) As you can see, we have a new layout. I decided the site needed a new layout based on one of the greatest games ever made - Final Fantasy VII. But this isn't the only new layout. You now have a choice. I've also made a nice Vincent layout for you Vincent fans (Yeah I know your out there. FREAKS!!! lol). There is also a new one dedicated to "Edward Wong Hau Pepelu Tivrusky IV" (Ed from bebop duh) called "Computerized Orange Edward". To preview these layouts, use the selector on the lower left-hand side of the page. When you find your favorite, click on "My Account" at the bottom of the main menu. There is a setting for the themes, and the one you select will be the one you see whenever you are here. And of course you can change it anytime you want to. Right now I'm working on some Inuyasha layouts as well as a Yuyu Hakusho one. If you have any suggestions, just use the forums. I'll be happy to listen. Also, as always, I'm looking for people to help run this site. If your interested use the forums or email me. (comments? | Score: 0) "i.wanna.be.a.rockstar!" The layout features Haruko from FLCL. It's called "i.wanna.be.a.rockstar!" Anyone bored enough to actually read my blog can check it out at CloudStrife6982.hopto.org. Considering how much money they made, and are still making, off of the original release of FFVII, they are sure to go through with the remake. Sony also made a demo video of what FFVII would look like on the PS3, which only helps to confirm that they will undoubtedly go ahead with the project. I've added the demo video to the image gallery. It is located at "Image Gallery/Videos/RPG Trailors". Enjoy! Should they remake FFVII? Cast your vote in the forums. Posted by cloudstrife6982 on Sunday, 28 August 2005 (06:13:37) Eastern Standard Time (1 reads) You can now watch anime right here on Anime & RPG's! I have just added "Anime TV!" to the site. I will be playing various anime from my own collection right on the site. The featured anime will change every few days to start off, but I will eventually change it every day. I may even have different channels to choose from, but we'll see. Anyway I used real producer to create the video page so you most likely will need to install real player to watch. Also the many of the files will need certain codecs to watch but I will add them all to the downloads section so you don't have to worry. The first featured show is FLCL episode 1. Enjoy! These sections include: Episode Guides, Strategy Guides, RPG Maker Tutorials, RPG Maker Main File Downloads, and Winamp Skins. It took a little while, but they're all in there. I'm trying to work on two different things: Trying to add more sections and features to the site, and trying to gather more content for the existing sections. Any suggestions or assistance would be appreciated. And don't forget to get your self an Anime & RPG's E-Mail address. CloudStrife6982 (comments? | Score: 0) Anime & RPG's Email Service! CloudStrife6982 (comments? | Score: 0) Updates Posted by cloudstrife6982 on Thursday, 18 August 2005 (04:57:52) Eastern Standard Time (0 reads) Ok. I've started the long and boring task of taking all of the downloads from pages that were not integrated into the site, and putting them into the actual downloads section. When I'm done with that I will remove those extra pages, as well as the links in the menu that will no longer be needed. I am also working on translating the strategy guides page and rpg make tutorials page into php so they can be better integrated. For an example, click on the "Custom Websites" link on the main menu under products. You can see what I mean by "intergrated". But that doesn't matter much because soon I will be moving the custom websites section to my new business site. For those who don't know, I have a computer business called CloudTech Software which I run out of my house. Well, my friend Kevin, who is also my roommate, does the same thing under the name PC Repair. Kevin and I have recently decided to team up on this and both our names had to go. The new name is "K&D Computer Technologies". After only 10-15 minutes of deliberation, that name just popped into my head out of nowhere. Anyway, to visit the site go here KandD.sytes.net. There isn't really any content yet, but it's on the way. So I guess thats all for the moment. As usual have fun. It's been awhile but the site has been completely remodeled and updated. Things are finally working properly. (Just need to get the email function working.) I decided that there isn't a webhost out there, free or paid, that would have the bandwidth or the hard drive space for all the content I have for this site. (Obviously I only have a small portion of it on the site now.) "So what do you do?" you may ask. Well there is only one answer. Upgrade the hell out of your computer of course. 3.8Ghz processor, 1024MB of RAM, and a 200GB hard drive. Then you install an Apache server, a MySQL server, PHP, and the best tools that $0.00 can buy. Then to top it all off, you call up the'ol cable man and tell him to stop on by and hook you up, and then tweak the hell out of your connection settings. That's what you do. But before I ramble on EVEN LONGER about how great I am, let me just say enjoy the new and improved site, and make sure to take advantage of every last feature: Submit downloads, news, images, talk in the forums, whatever. And by all means bring more people to the site, I BEG YOU!!! LOL. Anyway Have Fun. CloudStrife6982 (comments? | Score: 0) Another Anime Network in North America?
